VERNON, CT — Last Lap Motorsports is looking to capitalize on its early season momentum by checking one more box on its deep roster. That is why the team has sought out the addition of a talented road course driver in Flinn Lazier. Flinn is the 2018 SCCA Formula Enterprises 2 series champion and was a race winner at Watkins Glen in the 2019 Formula Atlantic Championship Series. Lazier currently sits 18th in the Indy Elite Series standings having missed one round with a best finish of 2nd at Laguna Seca.
Last Lap Motorsports founder and driver Ray Kingsbury had the following to say: “It’s clear that our strength is on the ovals. I had been watching Flinn since last season, but did not feel comfortable enough with our car to expand the team. With the results we have been putting down on the table, the team members decided it was time to bring in another race winning caliber driver. We’re really happy Flinn was interested in our offer and hopefully we can give him the speedway package he deserves. We already know his ability on the road courses.”
